James Calleja, chief executive of the Malta Qualifications Council, is fourth from left. The Malta Qualifications Council held the second partners meeting of its Leonardo da Vinci project EQF-Frame (European Qualifications Framework - Flexible References and Methods of Evaluation) in Barcelona. MQC is leading the project, which attempts to align tourism studies qualifications to the EQF together with five other partners from Austria, Slovenia, Spain, Italy and Greece. The project is led by the chief executive of the Malta Qualifications Council (MQC), James Calleja. The project will now move into its third phase with the production of the EQF-INFO Tool, the manual on the alignment process of tourism studies qualifications to the EQF and the preparation of an international information session which will take place in Malta in December next year. MQC is also involved as partner in two other Leonardo projects focusing on the qualifications of security personnel led by Lithuania and on the design of qualifications in electronic engineering aligned to the EQF headed by Austria. read more
