The traveling Leonardo da Vinci exhibit drew 40,000 visitors to the Birmingham Museum of Art during its run this fall, the museum reported Monday. The museum gave 103 tours and 350 people worked as volunteers to greet visitors, the museum said in a news release. Daily tours of the exhibit were booked before the exhibition opened. Ninety-three school groups and 7,326 elementary through college age students from the city of Birmingham and around the region came.
