Santore practices with the team three times a week, and practices on her own the other days of the week, sometimes up in New York and sometimes at the Bridgewater Sports Arena. The team skates to themes from the musical, “Les Miserables,” for the short program, and to themes from the musical, “Sunset Boulevard,” for the long program. Santore said she considers it a privilege to be representing her country in the competition, and is thankful for all the local supporters who have made it possible for her to pursue her passion on the ice. In addition, she said, she has family living in the area, and is thrilled to get to see them and have them come to her performances to watch her skate with her team.
